I have to take half star off, as while the show tries to promote the female protagonist detective (Karoline Schuch, the true star of this show), as she fights the sexism in Germany on the late 80s and 90s, really the show centers on the male police chief trying to find what happened to this sister. That said, this is the unofficial season 4 of True Detective in german, ripe with german interstate bureaucracy and idiocy. And if you are watching it dubbed to english shame on you! Dubbing is an abomination, stay true, and read the d#$n subtitles.
